Buying a Piano
 
     Your piano will be a significant part of the interior of your house, and one that will make a statement about your sense of taste and culture. Before buying one, spend the time researching your new investment. 

     There are several excellent piano makers:

    Brand new upright pianos start at about $3,600 and new grand pianos at $14,000. Some good second hand pianos can be obtained for under $2,000, but quite often you get what you pay for. It is also possible to rent a piano for $40-60 a month.
